In detail, what is your role at Think IT?

I am a Project Engineer, my daily tasks include managing and setting up new sites as well as upgrading existing site infrastructure and providing technical assistance to the helpdesk teams.

What is it that drives and encourages you within your work and personal life?

A sense of achievement is what drives me both at work and in my personal life. I’m result focused and like to undertake tasks with the ultimate result in mind. I get a great sense of achievement by completing a task successfully.

Who, or what, was the biggest influence in your career today?

The consistent challenge of changing technology is a significant influence on my career. It drives me to constantly learn new things and understand how developments in technology impact us in our daily lives.

Whose biggest fan, are you?

I’m a fan of the innovative thinking of Elon Musk. He thinks big and has an unlimited imagination resulting in the advancement of technology in the electric vehicles and green energy.

What accomplishment are you most proud of within your job role at Think IT?

Quickly progressing through numerous different roles in Think IT since joining the company.

What technology most excites you?

Automation and monitoring products allowing you to be anywhere in the world, electric vehicle technology and off the grid energy.

What areas should business be focussing on when it comes to technology?

Businesses should focus on how technology can best aid them in more efficiently achieving their desired results. Whether through increased automation or just keeping their technology performing at full speed.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I enjoy spending time on our lifestyle block with my wife and our two horses. We have been renovating our house which has given me lots of opportunities to build things and undertaking projects in our very large shed!

If you could gain one super-human power, what would it be?

Time manipulation as there is never enough hours in the day.
