Although there has been significant integration of the technologies in that last 20 or so years, the delivery of integrated voice and data solutions has become the preserve of computer companies who dabble in telephony and telephone system resellers that contract in an IT resource. Each type of organisation can be very good at their core business but tends to see the customer’s business problem through the bias of their own specialisation and build solutions accordingly.
